Stephan Schnaiter
loan officer

Born and raised in Greenville, SC, Stephan left for fifteen years to complete undergraduate and graduate degrees at the College of Charleston, followed by professional opportunities that took him from Charleston to Greenwood, and eventually to Athens, GA. Stephan returned to Greenville in 2006 with a desire to live and work in the community that he has always called home.
 
Prior to coming to Hanover Mortgage, Stephan worked in the Higher Education finance arena for 10 years, both in loan sales and as a college financial aid administrator, creating opportunities for students who would not otherwise be able to afford a college education. He sees the transition to mortgage lending as the evolution of his commitment to helping build strong communities by continuing to promote an improved quality of life and helping to generate financial stability.
 
When he is not busy working, Stephan enjoys playing soccer, running, eating sushi, and spending time with family and friends. He has been actively involved at North Hills Community Church in Taylors, SC since returning to Greenville.
